Boat Race Wrecker is Another Good Reason to Loathe the Left

Look at me: Trenton enjoys the attention
With his luxurious private school education, prestigious academic track record and apparent lack of interest in undertaking any real hard work in the real world, Trenton Oldfiled had all the qualifications necessary to serve as a cheerleader of the left. So the bearded toff thought he’d prove to Mummy and Daddy that he wasn’t your average left-wing, spoilt disappointment of a son by ruining the historic annual boat race between Oxford and Cambridge.

Apparently his reasoning was that the boat race was elitist and that he needed to send a message to the public that this was wrong. The reality is this over privileged no-hoper was looking for some form of special attention and decided to achieve this by trashing the hopes of two teams of hard working athletes who had spent months training for the big day.

People like Trenton Oldfield are exactly the same as those who spent months waving signs and injecting heroin into their arms outside St Paul’s and those who harassed hardworking staff in Tesco over the Government’s Workfare programme.

Behind all the political statements and rhetoric, the reality is these people will do anything… and I mean anything… to avoid hard work. Protesting seems to be a full time job for many of these left leaning layabouts, as a distraction to mask a non-existent work ethic. The boat race is a tribute to the athletes from two of the finest British Universities in the world, and the hardworking majority will celebrate this fact, not resent it.
